Uses
[edit]According to The Audiopedia on YouTube "Black Comedy is used to mock a victim. This trivializes the victim's suffering and leads to sympathizing with the victimizer." 216.211.247.174 (talk) 04:12, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

- One absurdly generalized interpretation of the concept of black comedy from a video blogger is not anywhere close to being reliable. YouCanDoBetter (talk) 04:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
Withnail?

Renaming Page to “Dark Comedy”
[edit]The term “black comedy” has fallen out of fashion in modern application. IMDb specifically uses the term “dark comedy,” while Rotten Tomatoes and MetaCritic use “horror comedy.” It is extremely rare to see the term “black comedy” used to refer to morbid comedy. I believe it is worth while for the moderates of Wikipedia to consider adopting the term “dark comedy” over the current term “black comedy” as it can create confusion between African American and morbid comedy. 2601:648:8100:AB00:2CE5:6216:3A15:B9B8 (talk) 05:13, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
